About Organisation

Ray Africa is a local Ugandan paint, coatings, and finishing solutions provider operating a factory and showroom along Gayaza Road. They manufacture and supply interior and exterior wall coatings, ceiling, floor, and wood finishes, alongside professional colour matching, design consultancy, and practical artisan training.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Process supplier invoices, prepare payment vouchers, and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile customer and supplier accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
  • Support debt collection efforts by following up on overdue accounts.
  • Record financial transactions in the accounting system and maintain proper documentation.
  • Assist in monthly account reconciliations and other routine finance activities.
  • Perform any other accounting duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

Additional Details

  • Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and debt collection.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
