About Organisation

Xclusive Uganda is a group of Horticulture companies consists of 3 companies: Xclusive Young Plants, Xclusive Kalanchoe and Xclusive Chrysanthemum. Our total production area is about 11 hectares, and we work together with 550 colleagues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring irrigation processes EC/PH measurements, dry spots, flushing dripline, and reporting leakages.
  • Having knowledge of pests that attack chrysanthemum
  • Sample collection procedure knowledge.
  • Controlling pests and diseases through proper bio-chemical application techniques, inclusive of physical spraying.
  • Regular cleaning of insect gutters and weekly replacement of sticky cards.
  • Timely controlling of greenhouse climate and hygiene.
  • Monitoring spray men checklist on daily basis.
  • Perform any other duty assigned by the supervisor but related to the job.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • A diploma/certificate in Agricultural or Horticulture Course.
  • Experience of 2 years and above in agriculture production field is an added advantage.
  • Being attentive, time conscious, cooperative, and able to follow instructions.
  • Being able to physically spray.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
