About Organisation

Kyagalanyi Coffee Limited (KCL) is Uganda’s oldest licensed coffee exporter and a leading processor of high-quality Arabica and Robusta coffee. Established in 1992 following the liberalization of the coffee industry, it now operates as the Ugandan subsidiary of the global coffee trader Volcafe Group (part of ED&F Man).

Job Summary

Agriculture graduates work in farming, agribusiness, research, and extension services, focusing on improving agricultural productivity and sustainability

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Crop Production

Assist in planning and managing crop production activities, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.

Animal Husbandry

Support livestock management, including feeding, breeding, health monitoring, and record keeping.

Soil Management

Conduct soil testing, analyze results, and recommend appropriate soil amendments.

Farm Operations

Manage day-to-day farm operations and supervise farm workers.

Research & Trials

Participate in agricultural research projects, including variety trials and agronomic experiments.

Extension Services

Provide technical advice and training to farmers on best agricultural practices.

Supply Chain Management

Assist in post-harvest handling, storage, and marketing of agricultural produce.
