Xclusive Uganda is a group of Horticulture companies consists of 3 companies: Xclusive Young Plants, Xclusive Kalanchoe and Xclusive Chrysanthemum. Our total production area is about 11 hectares, and we work together with 550 colleagues.

Job Summary

To manage and oversee the varieties of cuttings to ensure they meet the company’s quality and productivity with no mixtures before planting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure all varieties in trials are correctly identified, labelled, and maintained according to testing protocols.

Monitor crops regularly for pests, diseases, and physiological disorders.

Enforce greenhouse hygiene standards to minimize the risk of pests, diseases, and contamination.

Monitor irrigation processes to ensure optimal water supply for different varieties and growth stages.

Supervise greenhouse staff (pickers) involved in flower testing and trial activities.

Collect, analyze, and interpret data on flower quality, and growth performance

Perform any other duty in line with the position as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Minimum “O” Level certificate, preferably certificate and diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture.

Fresh graduate up to two (2) years’ experience.

Being attentive, time conscious, cooperative, and able to follow instructions.

Able to spray.

Good written and oral communication skills in English and Luganda.
